These are near perfect reproduction of the Austro-Hungarian M17 chinstrap bales. In the post-war era the Germans and a few other countries removed the chinstrap bales when they reconditioned Austrian helmets that were in their inventory. These are just what you need to restore one of those helmets. You get the bale, rivet and washer. All you have to do is peen the rivet into place.
