Restoration Services

Here at Alexander and Sons Restoration, we offer a wide range of WWI, WWII, and post-war era helmet and field gear restoration services. We paint helmets as common as German M42s and U.S. M1 to the unusual such as a Czech M32s and the Austro-Hungarian Berndorfer. If the helmet was worn between 1916 and 1960, we can restore it.

Stirnpanzer repaint: You provide the Stirnpanzer and we can paint it. Do you want to match a camo patten on your helmet. We can do that too.

Mess kit repaint: We can strip post-war paint and properly repaint any WWI or WWII mess kit. You send the kit and we will take care of the rest.

Original liner felt resewing: Do you want original WWII German wool felt sewn onto your new liner leather? It can be done!
