Description

This original restored German M35 helmet is SE68 marked indicating the shell was made by Sachsishe Emaillerwerke, Lauter. This factory was the first to produce German M35 helmets in 1935, and this example was one of them. The heating lot number puts the production in mid 1935. The helmet was fully stripped of post-war paint, then repainted the correct shade of smooth light apple green. The dome has been marked with the proper inspector’s ink stamp. The helmet’s Heer decal is the proper variant for SE/ET helmets. Both decals have been applied with period resin.

The helmet comes fit with a museum quality aluminum liner and chinstrap with aluminum hardware. The liner has been set with the proper brass split pins and slotted washers.

This is the perfect helmet for a reenactor who needs a large size helmet.
