German M31 rebuilt liner size 68/61 dated 1940

Description
This is an rebuild German M31 liner. The liner is size 61 for a 68 shell. The liner frame and internal band are both original and dated 1940. The frame was produced by Suberthwerke. The liner has been rebuilt with new pig skin leather. The wool felt pad is original. The liner tie is unbleached cotton just like the originals were. The leather has been carefully distressed to look and feel original. This would be perfect in either an original helmet or a restoration.
