This is an original restored French Adrian helmet in size B or 56-57 cm. The helmet was made by Les Etablissements Japy de Fesches-le-Châtel dans le Doubs. Japy was one of the early contractors for Adrian helmets. They helmets are distinguished by the lower comb an by the lack of side rivets. They are the only French helmet manufacture to produce helmets like that.

The helmet was fully stripped of all post war paint and then properly repainted the correct shade of Horizon blue. The inside of the helmet is ink stamped with both the size and the Japy manufacture mark as was the French practice during the era.

The helmet is fit with the proper aluminum spacer, black goat skin liner, and chinstrap. The liner pad has the proper horizon blue wool backing as well.
