German M35 helmet size 68. Comes fully restored with liner and chinstrap

Out of stock

This is an original German m35 helmet shell. It was manufactured in 1936, indicated by the 2000 series lot number. The ET68 stamp is the gothic script style which was discontinued by Eisenhuttenwerke in 1937. These early production shells are quite rare. Many of these were send to both Spain and China in the 1930s, but most stayed in Germany.

The purchase of this helmet comes with an aluminum liner installed with brass split pins and slotted washers, and a proper pre-war chinstrap. The helmet can be painted apple green or Luftwaffe blue-gray.
