This is a museum quality replica of an Allgemeine-SS NCO cap. This is the famous black version worn by the SS during the 1930s for parade and other such functions. The reproduction here isn’t one of the cheap versions that have flooded the net made by low skilled labor. This cap was hand made by a skilled German hat maker using original period wool and cotton thread. Even the bill is made from vintage material. The insignia are Austrian made reproduction and are often sold at militaria shows and, on the net, as original. All the details are here.
