Description
This original German M40 is marker marked EF62. The shell was fully stripped of post-war paint and repainted the correct shade aluminum oxide textured field gray. The restoration for this helmet was inspired by those worn by SS combat Police units during any of the winter fighting on the Eastern Front.
The decals are museum quality replicas and have been applied with period resin. The camo was brushed on, as was a typical practice. The helmet’s liner and chinstrap are high quality European replicas. The helmet has been heavily distressed to look and feel original. This is the perfect helmet for anyone interested in the Eastern Front.
