Description
This original restored M35 helmet is size 66. The shell is marked ET66 with a lot number that puts production in 1939. The helmet was fully stripped of post-war paint then repainted the correct shade of pre-war apple green. The gold foil Kriegsmarine decal and national colors decal have been applied using period resins.
The helmet was fit with the proper aluminum frame liner, period correct maker marked brass split pins, and chinstrap with aluminum hardware.
The helmet has been distressed to look and feel original. There is a great over all patina not to mention scuffs and scratches consistent with combat use.
Today KM helmets are rare and fetch a real premium. Now you can have this great example for fraction of the price of an original.
