This is a high quality reproduction German belt buckle, made in Eastern Europe. The buckle is A&S marked on the back, that isn’t for Alexander and Sons, it is an actual German buckle maker stamp. It has been stripped and repainted the correct shade of field gray. It was then over-painted with British WWII desert vehicle paint, as was often done by the German Africa corps. The buckle has been aged to look and feel original. The buckle has a wonderful patina, and absolutely looks the part. Whether you’re a collector or reenactor this is a great buckle to add to your collection.
